1.Ask the hoverboard manufacturer or seller to provide original samsung 18650 lithium ion battery cell invoice from Samsung.I have heard some seller said that they are using cheap samsung battery seller from Samsung Malaysia , so they can’t provide original invoice,that’s not true.Either 18650 lithium ion battery cell from Samsung Korea,Samsung China(Samsung has an agent for 18650 lithium ion battery cell in Shanghai,China) or Samsung Malaysia,they can provide original invoice to prove these battery cells are original from Samsung.However,if your order quantity is too small,hoverboard manufacturer may not provide this to you.But if you order a container of hoverboard with Samsung battery pack,the hoverboard seller could provide original battery cell invoice,if they can’t,then it is not real Samsung battery pack at all !

2.Copy the hoverboard manufacturer name written on the hoverboard pack cover and check with Samsung if it is Samsung certificated battery manufacturer.If it is,then this hoverboard battery pack is absolutely real Samsung lithium ion battery pack for hoverboard.As long as we know, there are 3 Samsung certificated battery factory in Shenzhen,China;you can ask your supplier whom it is.

3.If you are or you have an electric professor,then apply the battery discharging test,the discharging time and discharging curve of samsung battery is unique,you can identify it very easily.Or you ask the hoverboard or hoverboard battery supplier do a discharging test for a full charged hoverboard Samsung battery pack under supervision,and ask them to output a discharging curve report,pass this discharging curve report to a battery industry inside,they can know it is a real or fake samsung battery pack at a glance.
